Fascism in America (left and right) predates Trump but the indoctrination of the American people on the Right began after 9/11 did not really take hold until Trump. Bush just was not the Uberman Trump pretends to be.
There are many definitions of Fascism. The simplest one is Mussolini’s Corporatism, basically Public Private Partnerships where the Corporate and Government’s common interests Trump the peoples interest
The Cultural aspects are a bit more complex. In the 1930’s they involved racism, a persecution of minorities in favor of the majority race, and a strong man as leader, a Dictator. The Corporations and the people followed his orders
While the Fascism of Hitler included virulent antisemitism, Fascism as an ideology need not embrace anti-semitism as there are other targets which may be chosen. So you can love Israel and still be Fascist.
Today Fascism like all other isms has evolved. Mostly its been non-Racist although after 9/11 Muslim groups began being targeted for hate. Wokism which is a Leftist version of Fascism targets Whites, especially Males.
Unlike the 1930’s Corporations and Billionaires have become the dominant partner so a strong permanent leader, racism and militarism was not required, . This might well be called Friendly or Attenuated Fascism
Post 9/11 Fascism became a bit less Friendly, slightly more racist and more Militant
Trumps beginning to look like a full Reversion to Virulence as we see with some Attenuated Virus Vaccines. This is not good.

Development of inverted totalitarianism is often driven by the personal financial interests of individual bureaucrats, and many Western democracies have succumbed to this process.

We have those reports of Elons frequent calls to Putin after taking over Twitter. Assuming its true what could they possibly have to talk about?
There is no question Elon is influencing the election on Twitter. Comments Critical of Trump are throttled by his algorithm and his supporters are wildly amplified.
Here we have a guy beholden to government contracts and subsidies with Top Secret Clearance influencing the Election and talking with Putin who reportedly asked him not to give Taiwan access to Star Link. ELon as we know is foreign born (South Africa) and grew up in an Apartheid Fascist State , became a Canadian Citizen by virtue of his parents and reportedly worked illegally in US for some period. His Grandfather was a member of the Technocracy movement of the 1930’s which was a Fascist Front. He also is alleged to partake of certain drugs which could cause his security clearance.
The Wall Street Journal’s January 6, 2024 (paywall) article carried this assessment of Musk’s drug use:
“The world’s wealthiest person has used LSD, cocaine, ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms, often at private parties around the world, where attendees sign nondisclosure agreements or give up their phones to enter, according to people who have witnessed his drug use and others with knowledge of it. Musk has previously smoked marijuana in public and has said he has a prescription for the psychedelic-like ketamine.”
Then I think of Trumps other billionaire backer , albeit a covert one. Peter Thiel.
Another foreign born billionaire (Germany) although he grew up in US as a Citizen, but like ELon he also lived in Fascist South Africa for a bit.
Both ELon and Thiel call themselves Libertarians but both have been dependent on the Government for their business

Thiels biographer says his economic and political philosophy is bordering on fascism.
Thiel taught this class at Stanford and then turned it into a book called Zero to One. He talks about how companies are better run than governments because they have a single decision maker—a dictator, basically. He is hostile to the idea of democracy

So back to ELon and Putin . Turns out that Tucker Carlson interviewed Aleksander Dugin not long ago. I just got around to reading the transcript. Dugin has been called Putins Brain.

He predicts a violent Fascist Red (Bloody) Revolution like the Bolshevik Revolution that will be spread beyond national borders.
While he makes clear his views on liberalism as he did on the Tucker Carlson show he is vague about what replaces it, perhaps so as to not discredit his anti-liberalism, being already tainted with his dabbling with Satanism while young.
His point on Wokism is well taken and knowing that the Elite are Hegelians it seems Wokism on the radical Left may have been created in part to radicalize the right. These Billionaires fund both sides.

My senses tell me that the BLOB is Manufacturing Consent for an overt bottom up Fascist America, starting with the Right. Up until now its been rather a Covert Top driven Fascism ignored by the working class on the left and right
Fascism was popular among Americas Right Wing Elites in the 1930’s. Its was also known as Corporatism where the State and Corporations partnered to function as a whole toward common goals, which included power and profit and uniting the people against a Common Enemy.
The Enemy was a particular ethnic group or ideology which was the Enemy Within, and may or may not include a Country, which was the External Enemy. In Germany it was Jews, Gypsies, Communists and the Soviet Union. Poland was more about reversing the Versailles Treaty and recovering stolen territory
Hitler was appointed by the conservative president, Paul von Hindenburg. Mussolini was chosen by the king.
Hitler then used a False Flag known as the Reichstag Fire to obtain dictatorial powers
The German Fascists then partnered with Jewish Zionists in Germany and British controlled Palestine. Not because they had any love for each other but because they had a Common Enemy. That Enemy was Assimilated Jews in Germany/Europe.

The Fascists killed JFK. Interesting because his Father was accused of being a Fascist. One mistake I made is not recognizing that the defeat of National Fascism in Germany and Italy turned Fascism into a Globalist Ideology. But Globalism today is falsely attributed to being a Leftist Movement

That was accomplished with the Nixon Coup known as Watergate. The same folks that did JFK did Nixon. Nixon was the last liberal President. Liberalism was dead in all but name, replaced by fascist neoliberal economics. The Fascism that continued for the next 40+ years was non-Racist and up until 9/11 not very militant
After the US Europe followed in lockstep with the formation of the Fascist EU dominated by Germany. Hitlers dream come true. At the same time, the Soviets were enticed to drop their Communism and embrace neoliberal economics and riches for the Party Elites under the guise of Liberalism, paving the way to Fascism in Russia with Putin who replaced the drunken Yeltsin and seized power with his own Reichstag Fire (apartment bombings).
China was similarly wooed, with the promise of Hong Kong and riches for the Party Elite conditioned on opening the door to China for Western Capitalists . China kept their Socialist Religion and Authoritarian control but were Fascist in all but name, much like the West whose Democratic Liberalism was just as much an illusion to disguise the Fascism

The main difference between the National Fascism of the 1930’s and the Global Fascism today, and especially with Trump, is that Global Corporate Interests override National Interests and except for Israel is not yet the virulent Racist Fascism of the 1930’s. That may be changing
I don’t have a crystal ball but I am pretty sure Trump Wins . A lot of what his backers want done cant be done without Congress full support which is unlikely, so I do expect a Reichstag Fire Event. His backers are Accelerationists, they want to move at Warp Speed
