Watching the disaster of the covid vaccines put me off of vaccines forever. I take it they want to make a 'new and improved' mRNA measles vaccine now? One that will turn out to harm and not prevent transmission?
I think you are missing the point. Measles was a benign infection for those 1-12 yo, Almost everyone got it (i Somehow escaped). The problem is measles can be quite severe in older adults. Those whose immunity is from the vaccine is likely not as long lasting. Get it?

It may not last much at all. In a recent measles outbreak in Canada, 10 out of the 11 kids involved were vaccinated.
