I think the substack software has some issues, and it seems worse this past week or so. Posts won't open, or the wrong page opens and other minor irritations. Also, it's with random authors on random topics. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks. We shall see but the glitches over the past week may be to do with them tweaking their algorithm. If so, this is real time censoring, something even Twitter doesn't seem to have since they can scan the drafts before it gets posted

It may be a case of the number of users outgrowing the software (or hardware). I usually open substack articles in Brave just to avoid minor irritations like jerky scrolling or frozen screens, and I've been doing that for months.

I suspect it's just a glitch in the matrix, Pete. There have been days where trying to post anything is greeted with the ominous 'something went wrong', and that's it.

Try again on a different day? I really enjoy your work, would hate to see you have to leave.

Its been 2 days and the fact this one went through along with 2 other tests posts by my post on Israel did not go through seems telling.

The post is ready to go, I’ll try tomorrow

I did an abbreviated thread on Twitter

I might post on non-Israel matters if something interesting develops, but for now unless whatever is going on resolves looks like I am out. I’ll try to post it tomorrow.

Wasn’t Substack the anti (pre-Elon) twitter “free speech” space?

Yeah, but remember COVID and the vaccines got politicized, so many not buying the official narrative were on the right which is pro-Israel, pro War on Terror. I don't know much about Substacks political orientation if any, and I am not 100% sure this is a Substack issue (could be Apple since I only use an iPhone)
